BETA Technologies has raised $318 million in a Series C round. The new round was led by Qatar Investment Authority, with participation from Fidelity Management & Research Company, TPG Rise Climate, and United Therapeutics. In total, BETA Technologies has now raised $1.4 billion to date.
BETA Technologies, South Burlington, Vermont, United States, was founded in 2017 by Kyle Clark. In 2022, the company joined the unicorn club. "This investment validates progress and milestones toward commercializing electric aviation,” said BETA Technologies Founder and CEO Kyle Clark. “For years, we’ve flown across the country and deployed with partners to prove the safety and reliability of our aircraft and chargers.
