Anduril Industries has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Klas, a global leader in edge computing and tactical communications. By integrating Anduril’s Lattice software platform, autonomy, and sensor technologies with Klas’ rugged infrastructure, the company aims to deliver lightweight, mission-specific systems that are faster to deploy, easier to maintain, and more resilient. Following the acquisition, Klas will continue to operate from its existing facilities in Ireland and the United States. Anduril also confirmed plans to expand manufacturing capacity and establish its first office in Dublin, boosting its presence across Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.

Anduril Industries, headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, United States, was founded in 2017 by Brian Schimpf, Joseph Chen, Matt Grimm, Palmer Luckey, and Trae Stephens. In 2019, the company joined the unicorn club. This acquisition marks another step in Anduril’s rapid global expansion as it continues to redefine the future of defense technology.
